I'm Ivan Castilleja Palomo, a Mexican and Native American graphic designer. I studied at the University of Central Oklahoma, earning a BFA in Graphic Design with a minor in Illustration, as well as an AAS in Computer Science from Oklahoma State University–Oklahoma City. My work has been featured in several invitation-only exhibitions, including Entre Dos Mundos and Herencia OKC.

I consider myself a creative individual who is always looking for new ways to learn and grow. Graphic design is constantly evolving. It is an industry that constantly requires creativity, innovation, and adaptability.

I believe design is a powerful tool for communicating ideas when words alone may not be enough, whether because of language or cultural differences. Growing up in Mexican American culture has given me a unique perspective on identity and culture, and I've seen the challenges people can face while navigating new languages and environments. This perspective inspires me to create work that is accessible, understandable, and meaningful to a wide range of people.

My experience allows me to approach design by balancing creativity with curiosity, strategy, and technical problem-solving. I believe the best ideas come from staying curious, embracing new challenges, and never losing the excitement of learning something new.
